The real measure of our work is reflected in the successful analysis and strategic direction we provide for our clients. Here are a few examples of Aptis’ leadership. Be sure to click on the links to view the case study in detail.
Analysis to Support Go/No-Go Clinical Investment Decision
Challenge: A large multinational pharma company wanted to define the target product profile, clinical trial design requirements and market opportunity for several COPD product candidates in order to support a Phase 2a investment decision.
Where did the analysis lead us? See the case study.
Identify Target Indications for an R&D Development Agreement
Challenge: The client possessed assets with potential application across a broad array of dermatology disorders. The assignment was to identify those dermatology conditions that represented the most attractive targets for a deal with a strategic partner.
What were our recommendations? See the case study.
Due Diligence Preparation for Future Partnering Discussions
Challenge: An early-stage biotechnology client sought to develop a validated, data-driven analysis of the potential value of its novel anti-hypertensive compound in preparation for future partnering discussions and a possible acquisition offer upon release of Phase 2b trial results.
What was the analysis to support their partnering? See the case study.
Clinical Trial Comparator Required for a Registration Trial
Challenge: A biotechnology client determined that further investment in its non-TNF RA therapy could only be justified if the product would be used no later than 2nd line among non-TNF choices (3rd or 4th line overall assuming 1–2 lines of anti-TNF therapy). The assignment was a two-phase study to determine the attributes that would drive this prescribing preference and, most importantly, to assess the commercial value of a head-to-head trial.
Which product attributes would be most important in driving early-line use? See the case study.
