Amy Entwistle specializes in business strategy, market research and competitive analysis for early stage pharmaceutical products and medical devices as well as discovery technologies. Her in-depth business and medical experience are derived from many hundreds of interviews with physicians, scientists and thought leaders across a broad-range of therapeutic areas as well as analysis of the basic science and clinical literature and industry databases. She has as Masters degree in Cellular and Molecular Physiology and has worked closely with the partners of Aptis since the firm was founded in 2001. She was previously a Senior Consultant with Kendall Strategies.

Maren Anderson specializes in reimbursement planning. MDA Consulting Inc. provides consulting services to early stage drug, biotechnology, diagnostic and device companies nationwide. The firm also does due diligence and provides advice to many venture capital firms and healthcare investors. Ms. Anderson has worked in healthcare consulting and policy for more than 30 years. She was a Founder and Vice President of Covance Health Economics and Outcomes Services, Inc. in Washington, DC. Covance has helped launch hundreds of biotechnology drugs, traditional pharmaceuticals, diagnostic tests, imaging technologies, therapeutic devices and supplies, surgical instruments and vaccines.

Matt Kerwick, Ph.D.

Matt Kerwick, Ph.D., is Aptis Partners’ quantitative modeling and statistical partner. Dr. Kerwick has worked with the principals of Aptis Partners for over 15 years on projects that span a wide range of therapeutic areas. A decision scientist and statistician by training with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and technology industries, Dr. Kerwick has focused his career on product planning and strategy development utilizing demand-side opportunity assessment. His expertise includes research and experimental design, multivariate analysis, quantitative modeling and optimization and web-based research methodologies. He has extensive experience applying forecasting techniques and conjoint analysis to early-stage pharmaceutical product assessments.
